Future plans Print E-mail

By the end of 2009, we plan to fully open the Pediatrics building giving outpatient and inpatient care for children (50% of the population of Mali). God is providing physicians for this, but we still need to hire and train more Malian staff.

Funds have been given to allow us to finish the main Maternity complex. Our goal is to see this complex in use sometime in 2010. These buildings will more than double our bed space and give us three operating rooms, instead of the single one we have at present.

And then the dream will continue to grow, as we look to providing dental and eye care, doing mobile village clinics and evangelistic outreaches far beyond the walls of the hospital.

We hold our future plans lightly in our hands as we plan to the best of our abilities but often God steps in and sends us in a direction that we had not yet considered. God is leading and we are committed to following Him.

Vision statement

Our goal is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to the people of Mali through

the provision of quality,

      specialized health care,  and

to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior...

1 of 15 Malian women die in childbirth, 1 of 5 children will never turn 5!
